IMAGINE is an event of the Austrian ICT-Community and aims to gather top Austrian research achievements. Interactive and informative elements open up fascinating new perspectives on the world of Information and Communication technology. As part of the Austrian Presidency of the Council of the European Union, the IMAGINE18 will this year be part of ICT 2018: Imagine Digital – Connect Europe.

The conference series IMAGINE is the luminary of the information and communication technology of the future. Because it really connects Europe. This year researchers, industry professionals, policy makers and students from all European countries and different generations will meet and spend exciting days with experts in the ICT field from 4 to 6 December 2018. In addition, there will be the opportunity for students to participate in workshops and an idea marathon with your own registration.

The Imagine18 conference track, student workshops and the idea marathon will follow the overall theme of “Technologies bridging Generations”: Top level ICT experts and students will jointly reflect on ideas and scenarios of future developments in ICT. Both adult experts and students are encouraged to submit their own ideas or provide feedback to the ideas of the other age group, resulting in a joint vision of the future presented in the idea marathon. Both age groups will vote on these ideas and determine the winner of the Imagine18 award together. Join in, learn new things and let us learn from you. Because only from knowledge, the readiness to enter into something new, exchange, cohesion and participation the best innovations emerge.
